Beacon Hill
A 3.5-mile circular route led by John Mumford around the Beacon on some of the lesser used paths, including the arboretum. On a clear day there will be great views across Leicestershire.

This walk is a 6.8 mile undulating route from Mount St Bernard Abbey taking in Swannymote & Cademan Woods.

Bradgate Park Circular
This is an A 5 mile undulating walk around the perimeter of the Park with some moderately steep inclines, uneven and muddy paths. Great views of Leicestershire and beyond on a clear day.

Charnwood Forest Three Parks and a Village
A 5-mile circular route through a variety of scenic Charnwood Forest woodland and farmland. The walk takes in Beacon Hill Park, Broombriggs Country Park and The Outwoods; as well as some hidden, off-road footpaths through Woodhouse Eaves village.

Mountsorrel Riverside Circular
A lovely 5 mile walk circular walk along the Soar Valley. Out along one side of the River Soar to Cossington and back on the other side as far as Waterside Inn before returning to the meeting point.

Permissive Outwoods
A 4 mile walk from the Outwoods. The route passes through the Outwoods before taking advantage of the very pleasant permissive path almost to Beacon Hill. It is surely, one of the best paths in the area. We then descend along a newish path back towards the Outwoods, taking advantage of a short section of the new pavement along Breakback Road.
