Alternative Beacon Hill
A four half mile circular walk from Beacon to Bawdon, Ulverscroft and back.
Gradients are gentle but require climbing over 10 stiles. Some surprising features are passed, including a small stone circle, a new plantation and remote valleys.
Good views throughout, including a final and optional sprint up the Beacon, if desired!

A 5.2 mile circular walk through undulating terrain from the south-west edge of Loughborough, along footpaths and tracks to Beaumanor Hall in Old Woodhouse. Returning through the village, then along lanes and paths to Woodhouse Eaves, before crossing through a plantation and fields on the way back to Loughborough.

A full day out coach travel to Packington and back from Measham which consists of a 12 mile walk from Packington, through Ashby-de-la-Zouch to Blackfordby.
Then on to Mesham via Conkers and Moira Furnance, this walk will pass many sites of historic and industrial interest..
